1950s Kay Jumbo Natural Split-Shaft This instrument dates to JulyA bit of an oddity, but real cool nonetheless! This particular example really has us scratching our heads. Featuring what appears to be a jumbo body size, we believe this may have been offered up as one of Kays 'folk' models at the time. This is further reinforced by the inclusion of a slotted headstock and a quite wide 49. 5mm nut width. At some stage this example has been fitted out with a vintage DeArmond RHC B acoustic pickup in the sound hole.
